History

Order from History predicts what you will need for your regular inventory, based on your past Master Halco purchases. It has three fields: the timespan you want the search to encompass, the method of selection, and the replenishment timespan. The end result is a list of items from your ordering history that you can edit and order.

Say you regularly have jobs for chainlink fences, and you like to keep certain Master Halco chainlink parts in stock. Order from History can look at the past orders within 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months. All of the items that have been ordered within the specified timespan will be filtered by the second step.

The second part lets you determine the filter for the items. You can create a list that only shows: A. items whose total quantity purchased is greater than X; B. items that have been on more than X number of order forms; or C. items with a summed cost greater than X.

Finally, you get to set the replenishment plan. The first two options, 1 week and 2 weeks, predicts the quantities you will need for one or two weeks. The last option, no replenishment plan, leaves all of the quantity fields blank.

You can change the quantities and the units of measurement, and then either send the revised list to Order Entry, or generate a PDF of the list. You can print out the list, walk around your stockyard, and jot down how many parts you’ll need to order.

E-Catalog

There are 40,000 Master Halco items in the E-Catalog, so we provide three search mechanisms to help you find any item. First search by system, then narrow the results by choosing category of item. Select the attributes of the item with the dropdown filters to further refine the search.

You can remove filters from the search by clicking on the filter name in the top middle section, and start a new search by clicking on the item category name.

Once you’ve found your item, enter the quantity and adjust the unit of measurement, then click “Cart”. You can continue shopping for other items, or click “Go to Cart” to see the items in your Order Entry.

Parts List

The Master Halco Quick Quote(TM) allows you to create a quote in less than a minute! Builds of different systems, styles and heights can be made using this newest feature of QuoteMaster. In your quote, you can select the tax rate, if any, mark up the prices according to your markups, and include additional costs. You can save it to be retrieved and print it with just one click.

Won and Lost buttons will direct you to the Cart page. It is similar to tagging one’s build as “sold” or otherwise.

Build

The Master Halco Quick QuoteTM allows you to create a quote in less than a minute! Builds of different systems, styles and heights can be made using this newest feature of QuoteMaster. In your quote, you can select the tax rate, if any, mark up the prices according to your markups, and include additional costs. You can save it to be retrieved and print it with just one click

Won / Lost

The Won/Lost page is the last step for a job. Here you designate which fence jobs were won or lost. If you won a fence job, you can send all of the items on the summary page to Order Entry to order from Master Halco, or you can generate a pick list with all the parts and quantities from the summary page.

Contract

The contract takes the proposed builds and fences, and selects the ones that will be included in the contract document. You can select a build per fence, edit the price, and edit the additional costs.

Draw

Draw lets you plan out the fence. This tool collects the information for the fence and gate lengths and the number of posts. You can add a background image of the property and/or structures for reference. Additionally, you can use the fence layers to design the existing fence and the fence that needs to be removed. All of the drawings are included in the customer’s proposal, and can be used as guidance for installation and removal.

Proposals

With the QuoteMaster proposal you can give quotes for multiple fences and variations for each fence. Builds can have different systems, styles, and heights. You can select which builds to include in the proposal and input your own prices.

In a proposal you select the tax rate, if any, mark up the prices according to your markups, and include additional costs. The generated proposal is a PDF document that you can print or email.

Markups

The markup maintenance page is where you set your markup rates. You can create as many markups as you want, and apply them to multiple fence systems. Within a markup rate, you can have as many markups as you wish. If you want to create a labor markup for each foot of fence, and set the prices at a fence height level, you can.

Now we’re back to our favorite subject: taxes. For each individual markup, you can set the type of taxation. Let’s say a fence job is using tax rate 1 and markup rate 2. If the sales tax for tax rate 1 is 8.25%, and the material markup for markup rate 2 is sales taxable, the 8.25% tax will apply to that individual markup. This is all calculated for you.
